Well it’s that time of year where we start to slow down and prepare for our various holidays in many ways.
Last year I started to record what my year looked like by rattling off goals and personal achievements, very much like Spotify does with your musical tastes. I always like to see what I listen to the most each year as I have favorite artists that are always making my lineup but I always have new bands and musicians that become new favorites and make the list too…

Introducing the new flag of the State of Illinois… Maybe…
A couple months ago, I had a friend and fellow designer from Western Illinois University Caren Bordowitz tell me about an exciting contest happening to redesign the flag of ILLINOIS! I won't lie I really like contents like that because I feel like it really can be anyone's game and so exciting to possible see the future waving around and knowing you designed it!
Plus if I'm being honest, I would love to add that accreditation to LEGENDERRY™ 's portfolio.
I have lived in Illinois my whole life in a part of it commonly referred to as Forgottonia. My hope if chosen is to help this wonderful part of our state be less forgettable. Every Illinoisan deserves to be proud of this state and it's people!
So without further ado here are what I submitted for my flag designs.

If I had one chance to change the world of design/the impact of branding choices/marketing campaigns companies make.
I’d sum it up in these three simple words.
LESS IS MORE!
It’s so simple but yet you’d be surprised at how often I see the exact opposite being done by leaders in companies.
I don’t really understand it myself, other than it’s the low hanging fruit, it’s the status quo, or maybe it’s just not rocking the boat making anyone above them unhappy. Sadly I see it play out all the time, and I bet you do too.
